On Sunday 26 November, the Sunset to Full Moon Hike at Muratie will take place from Dirtopia Trail Centre on Muratie Wine Estate. With the sun setting just after 19.30, the full moon will rise above Simonsberg at around the same time.
Book tickets online at R120 per person and R60 for kids u-13, to start your hike between 17:30 and 18:30 to the picnic spot. Here wine will be available that you can enjoy on your picnic blanket and the snacks you carried in your pack.
Breathtaking views of the Winelands as you hike to the look-out at the foot of the Simonsberg. A circular route of only 3,5 km, it is do-able by all ages and fitness levels!
Coffee station will be at the start/finish point, and all hikers stand a chance to win a Falke sock hamper in a lucky draw. You’ll be back at the Trail Centre between 20:00 and 20:30.
