South African artist, author and motivational speaker, Chris Page will be in Wellington from Saturday 4 March.
On 4 March his exhibition, The art of the Face, will open at Die Bôrdienghuis theatre at 11:00. The work focuses on the fact that every face has its own unique composition, where light, texture and shape work in harmony to create identity.
On Sunday 5 March from 10:00 Page will host a teatime talk on the theme “The light within us”. It will focus on looking beyond external appearances into the energetic world within, as individuals and as part of a collective, recognising one’s potential and power as natural beings, on both a microscopic and macroscopic level.
On Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 March, between 09:00 and 12:00, Page will host a session on cheirology (representing words by signs made with fingers, combining Buddhist hand analysis and modern-day palmistry, as a self-analysis tool). Bookings are essential.
On Saturday 11 March he will host a soul art workshop entitled “Who am I?” from 09:00 to 13:00. This is a playful workshop intended to help the journey inwards through creative activities such as collage, doodling and clay work.
Bookings are essential. For more, email crphands@gmail.com or WhatsApp 066 040 5030.
