Van Wyksvlei chess players are in Cape Winelands team

These learners of Van Wyksvlei Primary School were selected to form part of the Cape Winelands Primary Schools chess team. Over the weekend from 6 to 7 May they took part in the annual Western Cape Primary Schools Individuals Provincial Chess Championship in George. From left are Melissa Ephraim (coach), Jadrian Lielieveld (u-13), Jaylin Arendse (u-11), Caydon Le Fleur (u-11) and Gabriella Solomons (u-13).
