SA sauvignon blancs are among the best in the world, as judged by the 2023 Concours Mondial du Sauvignon, the largest international sauvignon-blanc competition. A record 1 210 sauvignon wines from across the globe competed this year for the highly coveted Concours medals. Fifty international judges awarded silver and gold to wines from 20 countries, announced on Monday 20 March at ProWein in Düsseldorf, Germany.
