The Blitz Victory Trail Run, presented by Sportsmans Warehouse, takes place at L’Avenir Wine Estate near Stellenbosch this coming Friday (15 December) to celebrate the Boks’ fourth RWC win.
Entrants are encouraged to wear green in support of the Springboks’ momentous achievement as well as the achievements of all other prominent South African sportsmen and -women.
Join in the fun and run though orchards and vineyards on Dirtopia’s expertly designed single-track trails. And at the finish you will receive a special World Cup! Registration takes place from 06:15 at L’Avenir.
Starting times: 11 km (R180 pre-entry): 07:00, 6 km (R150 pre-entry): 07:15. Children U-18 pay only R60 pre-entry and late entries pay the normal late entry fee.
Late entries will be taken on event day at an additional fee of R50 for adults.

This is a fast course between the vineyards and orchards with great views and beautiful wineland scenery. The long route also uses the neighbouring farm, so you’ll get some single-track in the forest and jeep track through the vineyards and orchards.
There will also be a refreshment station on both routes and Powerade, fruit, cold water and Coke at the finish for all. Stay for the prize giving and lucky draw and win some great L’Avenir wines! Vouchers are up for grabs from the title sponsor Sportsmans Warehouse and Falcke socks.
