The debating season for this year started with a friendly debate against Paul Roos Gymnasium. The motion was THBT (This House believes that) the internet is a public utility. The senior team was the proposition team and won the debate. Sebastian Meyer was the best speaker. Teammates Nico Smit and Zack du Toit were first and second speakers, respectively. Coach Danré Muller used the opportunity to teach some of our younger debaters, among whom were brand new Grade 8s.
