Thando van Zyl, a student at Phox Dance Academy in Paarl, recently competed in the 2021 South African Sport Aerobics, Fitness and Hip Hop National Championship in Cape Town. He took first place in the Hip Hop Unite Solo Battle Adult (13+ years) category. Thando qualified for official Protea Colours and is invited to compete in the 2021 World Hip Hop Championship in France as part of the official South African team.
