Dillon de Jongh, South African Kickboxing Champion and member of the National Kickboxing Team that will represent South Africa in the African Games to be held in Johannesburg from 26 to 28 August. Dillon, who holds a black belt in kickboxing, has been engaged in the sport for more than 10 years. He is also the current Cape Winelands Kickboxing champ. “Dillon is a very driven and courageous young man, and a host of opportunities awaits him in the kickboxing world,” according to his coach Russel van Sitters. “His absolute commitment, obedience and tenacity are the strong points that will catapult him to the top.” De Jongh is also one of the coaches of the anti-bullying programme presented by the Paarl Valley Kickboxing Academy on Saturday mornings.
