At the start of every new school term the Khula Development Group (KDG) dedicates two days to the training of personnel. The non-profit promotes school attendance of primary school learners from Grade R to 4 in Paarl and Stellenbosch. The purpose of the training is not only for improved service delivery, but also increased productivity and performance of employees. Simone Oberholzer, qualified play therapist and social worker, led the training for Term 3, which centred on connecting with children.
