Conrad Poole, Mayor of Drakenstein, congratulated all matriculants in Drakenstein, who had received their matric results on Friday 20 January.

“Many hours of hard work paid off for several learners, and we celebrate with the top pupils as well as the individual achievements of every matriculant.
“I also want to acknowledge all our parents, caregivers and educators who worked behind the scenes throughout the year to guide our learners and help them reach their full potential. Your dedication does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
“I want to extend my best wishes for all the matrics’ future endeavours. I encourage you to hold the Drakenstein name high.”
