Paarl will have the opportunity to see top Cape Town comedian Quinton Manuels in action again on 4 August at the Dvine Estate Expo & Events.
He will perform as part of the Ascension Anglican church Klein Drakenstein’s cheese, wine and comedy evening.
Also performing will be a two-person jazz duo, and the popular Michael Ephraim will act as Master of Ceremonies.
Fr Earl Richards of Ascension church invites the people from Paarl and surrounds to come along and enjoy the evening. “It is cold, we had to battle floods, food and petrol prices are sky-high, and on top of that we have to deal with load shedding.
“So this is the ideal opportunity to forget about all the doom and gloom, to come and relax, laugh and enjoy lovely cheese and wine with us. We promise you will feel much lighter when you leave Dvine Estate after the event.”
Manuels promises a laugh a minute: “I love performing in Paarl, and have not for a while. Paarl people are lekker people and I know we will have a good time. I mean, my fat rolls, cool jazz and tasty cheese and wine are an unbeatable combination!”
