Local learners receive spectacles through Rotary

More than 100 pairs of spectacles for youngsters at local schools have been sponsored by Paarl Rotary, due to the long waiting list at the Department of Health. Here Jacolien Bartolini (right) of Stellenbosch Optometrists fits Lesley-Ann Pietersen with spectacles at Paarl School of Skills. Looking on with Rotary president Eugene Reynders are other recipients (from left) Tashlynn Jacobs, Natasha Fortuin, Lenwhin Abrahams and Duane Fortuin. A similar donation will also be made at Paulus Joubert Secondary.
