Lihle’s ‘killer’ in court

The distant relative accused of killing 10-year-old Lihle Zenzile from Mbekweni made his fifth appearance in the Paarl Regional Court on Monday 15 May. Her body was found in a white trunk in her parents’ bedroom on 6 January this year. According to Action Society’s Kaylynn Palm, the proceedings were again postponed a second time to evaluate the accused’s mental fitness to stand trial. He is expected to appear in court again on Thursday 1 June.
