Zayhan Samodien (8) recently competed at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Games held in Durban. He made it to the final in the Kata division where he won a silver medal at his first international tournament. He also received the Rising Star award at the Karate Western Cape Excellence Awards ceremony. Zayhan is a student of the Patrick Ross Karate Academy.
