At the Cape Winelands Karate Federation Awards, which were held last weekend, karate students of Paarl’s Patrick Ross School of Karate excelled. Caitlin America won the award as Senior Sportswoman and Nathan Alexander Senior Sportsman of the Year. Both are learners of Klein Nederberg Senior Secondary School. More of Ross’ students, cadet boys and girls, were named Unison Champs and are now ranked second in South Africa.
