On Saturday 13 November, La Rochelle Girls’ High School competed in the final leg of the Equestrian Interschools competition, the Dressage and Prix Caprilli competition hosted by Evergreen Stables at Nelson’s Wine Estate.
Along with numerous individual placings, the Larries won the Novice Prix Caprilli trophy and were the runner-up school overall.
In the show-jumping leg of the competition held last month, La Rochelle braved the rain and made history by winning the Show-Jumping Interschools competition for the first time since its inception in 2006.
Despite Covid-19 restrictions, the Larries equestrian girls have had a very successful year in a wide variety of disciplines and the school are immensely proud of them.
