Overberg Goju-Kai and Shihan Francois du Plessis held their first competition for 2021 on Saturday (17 April). Over 100 students attended the competition, which was a kata-only competition in accordance with Covid-19 regulations. Jamie Kock (left) from Courtrai Primary won gold in the boys blue and purple belt division and De Wet Pretorius (right) from Paarl Boys’ Primary won gold in the boys brown and black belt division.
