Gold for maths genius

James Turner (10) of Courtrai Primary School recently took part in the Western Cape Regional A+ students Genius Mathematics competition. More than a hundred learners took part in the competition, which comprised two papers: six minutes competing sums using the abacus and two minutes for mental maths. James received gold for his participation.
