The Khula Development Group, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that promotes school attendance in Paarl through their Go2Captains programme visited numerous schools in the Paarl East area to motivate learners to attend school every day in the upcoming 2023 academic year. Go2Captains are for learners who attend school every day, are on time for school every day, remind the teacher to complete the attendance register, has respect for their teacher and classmates and motivates classmates and friends to go to school. Grade 3 classes with the best school attendance for the 2022 academic year were also identified.
