The Titans Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Paarl will host a fundraiser for six of its kickboxing students on 29 April.
The six young men are Dylan Pietersen (13), of Clift College, Yabo Axolile (22), Walter Oktober (38), James Arthur (18) Wellington Prep and Jethro Marx (22).
They have been chosen to take part in the South African Kickboxing trials, which take place in Mossel Bay from 12 to 15 May.
During the fundraiser all kickboxers going to the trials will showcase their skills and live sparring in the gym to show the public their unique capabilities. There will also be hotdogs on sale as well live music for more entertainment.
The cost is R200 for adults and R50 for children, and these funds are on a donation basis and solely for the travel and accommodation expenses of the candidates.
