The Boland Cricket Stadium in Paarl will soon be more than just the home of legendary cricket in the Western Cape, with a modern lifestyle and residential estate that is in the pipeline consisting of over 700 units, a shopping centre, hotel and several other amenities.

Located between the scenic Drakenstein Mountains and the Paarl Rock Mountain as backdrop, the Boland Oval Residential Estate promises prospective buyers the opportunity to invest in a living experience where lifestyle, sport and commercial living meet.

The developers officially introduced the project during a prestigious event hosted at the cricket stadium on Wednesday night, where potential investors had a first glimpse of what is soon to be fine living with easy access to key routes such as the N1 highway.

Dr. Werner Rouw, a developer and CEO of Statytus Collection, on Wednesday night said the development is sure to attract buyers from all walks of life.

“What you see here today is the hard work over the next few years. This is going to be a very unique development and the first of its kind for South Africa. The location speaks for itself. We are in the Cape Winelands, and we are aware of the immigration to the Western Cape, not only from South Africans provinces but from all over the world. People want to come and reside here on a permanent basis.”

The units will range from studio apartments up until three-bedroom units – all fitted with a balcony and/or private porch area.

An international hotel consisting of 150 guest rooms, two restaurants, a rooftop sunset restaurant and cocktail bar and conference facilities is also on the cards for the Boland Oval development.
