Film crew, not ET present on Bains Kloof Pass

Large parts of Wellington could see a bright light on Bains Kloof Pass on Saturday evening (9 December), which left several puzzled. However, fear not, as no extra-terrestrial (ET) objects appeared to kidnap us and take us away to a faraway planet. The humdrum reality is that a film crew was present on the pass and unknowingly fuelled Wellington residents’ wildest imaginations of a possible ET coming to their demise, or, perhaps, rescue. According to a resident that stays on Bains Kloof Pass, an advertisement was being filmed.
