The South African Sport Aerobics and Fitness Federation (SASAFF) in the Western Cape region announced that the Phox Dance Academy has qualified to participate in the National Sports Aerobics, Fitness and Hip Hop Championship.
The team will represent the province in the upcoming championships, which take place from 28 to 29 August in Cape Town. Team Blaze (juniors 12-18 years) includes Mo-Teesha Nathan, Natanya Rossouw, Liam Thompson, Thando van Zyl and Lee-Zaandré Wanza.
Members of the academy who will perform in the solo battles category (adult, 13 years and older) are Nathan, Rossouw and Van Zyl. Likhona Mlabateki will also do a solo battle in the Youth 7-12 years category.
The team is coached and led by Vurswil Seconds & Tashwin Claassen.
