This year, the Cycle for Hope bike race will focus on helping those in need and turn its focus to House Andrew Murray Child and Youth Care Centre in Wellington.
With the Festive season at hand, bike enthusiasts are invited to join them in raising funds to give to the children of House Andrew Murray and give them a Festive Season to remember.
The race route is as follows: Paarl (Frater Sqaure) to Langebaan (Main Beach) with a distance of 140 km.
Entry costs R150 per person with the full amount being donated towards House Andrew Murray. Riders who are fit enough, can do the 140 km solo, but you will also be allowed to do the group ride in a team format (eg. 4 people x 35 km).
The rules are; all teams must have a safety vehicle (for safety, water etc.), no helmet, no ride and no under 16s are allowed.
Entry fees and donations will be payable on the day of the group ride or can be paid in advance directly to House Andrew Murray.
All riders are to remain at Langebaan until the last riders come through for a group photo. For more information or to assist, contact Karen Petersen on 083 234 8875 or Cobus Basson on 073 529 1382.
