Cupcakes of Hope (COH) is celebrating the monumental success of its recent fundraising campaign during International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September and on National Cupcake Day on 30 September. Through its dedicated efforts and generous support COH raised an impressive R2 278 525 during the campaign. In September it encouraged South Africans to host a “Party of Hope”. Participants could pledge to bake either 24 or 48 cupcakes and raise funds individually. Additionally, on the 30th volunteers had the option to join any of the 60 malls participating in COH’s National Cupcake Day initiative. At these locations volunteers could support cupcake sales, offer their time and assist in fundraising.
