Klapmuts police have achieved quite a success on the cable-theft front when shift members received information of copper cables being stored in a house in Sector 1, Weltevrede Park in Klapmuts last week. Police spokesperson Sgt Madilyn Dombas detailed that on further investigation and a visit to the premises in question, Klapmuts police confiscated seven big bags containing cables, which were later identified as cables used by Transnet. “The estimate value of the cables is almost R400 000. One woman suspect was arrested on the scene for possession of stolen property.”Photo: Supplied
