The Paarl police is investigating a case of assault following an altercation between neighbours.
Spokesperson Capt Louise du Plessis said that it is alleged that on Sunday 29 January, whilst a couple was braaiing, the neighbour confronted them.
“An argument then took place between the neighbours which led to the residents of the neighbour’s house throwing stones at the couple who was braaiing,” she said.
It is not yet known what led to the altercation.
A case of assault has been opened for investigation.
