I am writing this letter as a concerned citizen who, among others, have been affected and suffered damages over the weekend due to the adverse weather conditions that wreaked havoc in the area. As we speak we don’t have roofs over our heads as they were damaged by the gale-force winds.
Therefore I would like to know if there will be any assistance provided by the municipality? If not, why?
If they can’t help us at this time of need then surely they mustn’t count on our votes either in the upcoming elections. I intend on petitioning those who were affected and have suffered losses over the weekend.
