Shotokan Karateka participated in SA Championships

A number of the Shotokan Paarl Dojo members recently participated at the New World Shotokan Karate South African Championships which took place in Franschhoek. A total of nine silver medals and 10 bronze medals were won. At the back are Gabriél Mars, Sensei Thomas Jacobs (5th dan) and Ruan Mars. Middle are Liam Gabriels, Azaria Sheldon, Asheqah Nackerdien, Kye du Preez, Kyle Sacks, Lehaigen Apdol and Levis Masala. In front are Joel Buziek, Zack Sacks, Jaydon Claasen and absent is Zayliah Swanson.
