Karl scoops up two gold medals for swimming

Karl Linke (11), a Grade 6 learner at Paarl Boys’ Primary, recently participated in the Western Cape Level-3 Provincial Swimming Championship in Oudtshoorn. He received the fifth-highest individual score among 239 participants. Karl won a gold medal for both the 100-m and 200-m backstroke. He performed best in all the events he took part in and qualified for the South African National Junior Championships (SANJ), which are taking place at Coetzenburg (Stellenbosch University) from 14 to 18 April.
