The Cape Winelands Schools Chess trials were recently held at Hexvallei Secondary School in De Doorns. Learners from Ebenezer Primary School took part in the trials. Standing at the back are Zeek Baron (12), Kayde Uys (11), Lyle Isaacs (13) and Taygan Uys (13). In front from left are Micah Clayton (10), Layla Brandt (11) and Euodia Crotz (11).
