Upgrades to the surface of Cecilia Street, Paarl began this week.
According to Drakenstein Municipality, the upgrade will stretch from Köhler Street in the south to the Berg River Boulevard connection. All intersections and accesses will be resurfaced as well.
The work should take approximately two weeks to complete. Road users should take note the affected road/s will be closed partially, to accommodate the daily works, between 08:00 and 17:00, and the flow of traffic will be affected. Some of the work may take place at night, if need be.
Traffic marshals will be on duty to control the traffic.
