The following chess players from Ebenezer Primary School performed exceptionally well at the recently held Boland Central Chess Championships. Kiara Bothma (9) received a bronze medal for u-11 girls and Lee-Roy January (10) received a silver medal for u-11 boys. Lee-Roy also received a silver medal at the Courtrai Scholars Open Chess Tournament for u-10 boys.
