Drakenstein Municipality is once again embarking on a series of Open Days, where residents and businesses of the area can give their input into its draft 2022-’27 Integrated Development Plan (IDP), draft 2022-’20 budget and proposed new municipal tariffs as well as its draft Spatial Development Framework (SDF).
The IDP is the planning document of the municipality, which is reviewed every year. For the second year in a row it will host these Open Days at central locations across the municipal area – from Saron to Simondium.
The public will be able to speak directly to municipal officials about the draft IDP, draft budget and draft SDF as well as general service delivery issues that affect them.
