Africa Genesis Archery Western Cape (AGA-WC) will host the 2022 AGA Inter Provincial Championships (IPC) at Mistico Equestrian Centre near Paarl from 5 to 7 October.
Approximately 600 archers from different schools across the country will be attending this championship.
AGA is a non-profit company with the mission to establish the enjoyment of archery.
Participating in its sport develops life-long skills, especially among youth, by using the bow and arrow as a very effective medium. Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed by family and friends, and creates a platform where athletes and non-athletes alike compete on a level playing field. Studies have shown that archery teaches young people discipline and respect, increases physical activity and improves their self-esteem. The sport has the ability to touch, transform, redirect, lift and change individual lives forever.
But the success of events such as the IPC is made possible only through the generous support of sponsors. The organising committee of AGA-WC, therefore, would like to request support in furthering the sport and improving awareness in South Africa by way of a sponsorship for the event.
Sponsorships will create opportunities to advertise and network during the event.
They are in need of the following sponsorships:
. A contribution to the expenses of the event (venue hire of approximately R40 000 for three days, and so on). Entire or partial sponsorship of 64 provincial shirts @ R400 each (total: R25 600). Stationery, water, cool drinks, energy bars, nuts, and so on. Any other items that could benefit the archers on the day of the competition.
Sponsors will have the opportunity to place banners at the IPC venue, hand-outs in goody bags and have their branding on the WP provincial team’s shirts.
