Een man is dood en nog twee ernstig beseer nadat hul Toyota Hilux-bakkie Woensdagoggend vroeg op die N1 naby Paarl Mall teen ’n betonpilaar gebots het.
Die verkeersvloei het intussen herstel en alle bane op die N1 is oop vir verkeer.
Volgens ’n bron op die toneel is die een man weens kritieke beserings dood terwyl al drie pasiënte na Paarl-hospitaal vervoer is.
Geen ander voertuie was by die ongeluk betrokke nie.
- One man died on the way to hospital along with two other male patients that sustained serious injuries in an accident on the N1 near Paarl Mall early on Wednesday morning. According to officials on scene, the men driving in a Toyota Hilux was on their way to Paarl on the N1 from Cape Town. No other vehicles were affected by the accident. Traffic flow has been restored and all lanes are open for traffic.
