I have read about two pedestrians recently being knocked down by cars at the intersection of Berg River Boulevard / Lady Grey in the Paarl Post. Jay-walking is a criminal offence and the pedestrian lights at this intersection are permanently RED, forcing people to break the law! Fix the lights and enforce the law. Problem solved.
