During the week of Interschools, Paarl Girls’ High is aware of the fact that the increase in traffic will test the patience of everybody. The school, therefore, has the following measures in place from Monday 25 July to Friday 29 July 2022. The Traffic Department requests that all parents and spectators adhere to the following regulated traffic arrangements.
Om moontlike opeenhoping van verkeer te voorkom, is ooreengekom met die verkeersdepartement dat daar gereguleerde eenrigtingverkeer in Hoog- en Zeederbergstraat toegelaat sal word. Die Drakenstein-verkeersdepartement tesame met Southern Cross-veiligheidsmaatskappy sal die skool hiermee behulpsaam wees.
Tye vir die regulering van verkeer:
. Maandag: 06:00-20:00. Dinsdag: GEEN . Woensdag: 06:00-22:30. Donderdag: 06:00-18:30. Vrydag: 06:00-21:00
TRAFFIC ROUTE:
Turn into Zion Street (Bossa Nova on your right hand side)
Turn left into Klein Bos-en-Dal Street.
Turn left into High Street (the school is on your right hand side).
Follow the road.
Do not park in front of any permanent residence.
Turn left at the T-junction into Zeederberg Street towards the Main Road.
Security officers will be on duty at the bottom of Zeederberg, Theron and both ends of High Street.
Only residents from L’Ideal, staff members, officials and honorary guests can turn right in Zeederberg Street towards the GHS parking area.
The Traffic Department will follow a Zero Tolerance Policy throughout the week.
PARKERING
Die Verkeersdepartement versoek ouers en lede van die publiek om die volgende gebiede vir parkering te gebruik:. Parkeerterrein agter Bossa Nova;. Parkeerterrein van die Strooidakkerk;. Parkering by die Zeederbergplein;.. Parkeer en rygebied in en om Bean in Love.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
A Paarl Rock Tours Shuttle will transport spectators from Bean in Love and VidaE Café to the main entrance of Paarl Girls’ High School. A minimum cost of R10 will be charged. The bus will shuttle on the hour, every hour, from 13:00 to 19:00.
