Over a little more than two months there have been three major accidents on Bergrivier Boulevard, at the bend that goes up to Hood Street in the Vrykyk area.
The accidents have nothing to do with the bend, but rather drivers who are like maniacs behind their wheels, especially at night.
It is only a matter of time until one of them drives right through a residential wall and causes indescribable damage.
Do the traffic cops ever patrol the roads at night to crack down on these reckless drivers? I don’t think so.
I also heard that no law enforcement officer from the municipality is on duty after 21:00 either.
