The Paarl police reminds all business owners and members of the public to ensure that their copper pipes and cables are secured.
Police spokesperson, Capt Louise du Plessis, says: “Although the non-ferrous teams have made headway with arrests for copper cable theft in the area, suspects are now targeting businesses, residences and empty premises on farms for any form of copper.”
Members of the public should report any suspicious persons to the Paarl police on 021 807 4007/8/9.
