Saturday 17 September is World Cleanup Day and the public of Paarl are invited to join Friends of the Berg River (FOBR) in collaboration with The Mbeko Eco Club for a river clean-up.

World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers, governments and organisations to tackle the global waste problem.

Friends of the Berg River is a non- profit organisation aiming to keep the Berg River clean as well as eradicate invasive alien vegetation.

Join FOBR at any of the four different points from 10:00-12:00 on Saturday 17 September.

1. Paarl Arboretum foot bridge

2. Paarl Canoe Club

3. Berg River Brewery

4. Paarl Waste Water Treatment Works.

Join the movement, roll up your sleeves, bring a bag and make a difference before it is too late.
