Larries super athletes for Paarl team

On Saturday 4 February 27 athletes from La Rochelle Girls’ Primary participated in the Paarl Primary Schools Championships. La Rochelle placed 13th out of 33 schools. The school received two gold, three silver and two bronze medals. Congratulations to the following athletes that were included in the Paarl athletics team that will participate in the Boland Central Championship on 18 February. At the back (from left) are Elizabeth Smith (javelin), Meacke Lawrence (100 m, 200 m, high jump), Elzaan van Graan (javelin) and Jasmin Grobbelaar (discus). Centre: Madison Cupido (shotput) and Micah Beukes (high jump). In front is Zoey Jaftas (1 200 m, javelin).
