The Paarl police would like to provide the public information on the costs for the following police clearances: . R160 for a Police Clearance Certificate which is usually requested for overseas work or certain institutions.. R75 for a Fingerprint Clearance Certificate, which is usually a requirement for local employment applications.
“Your nearest police station has allocated fingerprint clearance offices that operate from 07:45 to 16:00. When applying for the above, it is important to note that only cash payments are accepted and on applying your identity document is required,” police spokesperson, Capt Louise du Plessis said.
