In the week since the opening of the online school applications last week on Monday 13 March, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has already received applications for more than fifty thousand learners.
Thus, parents and guardians are asked to register their children soon for the 2024 school year to avoid disappointment before applications close on 14 April at midnight.
Pop-up application sites will be set up at a few schools in the Paarl, Wellington and surrounding areas and will be open between 09:00 and 15:00. Here parents and guardians will receive assistance to apply. This includes Wellington Primary (25 March), Paarlzicht Primary (1 April), Paulus Joubert Primary School (8 April), Hillcrest Primary (8 April), Imboniselo Primary (8 April) and U-Save Mbekweni (8-9 April).
