Mild temperatures and leaves turning all sorts of colours makes autumn a great time of year to spend on the trails!
Mountain bikers of intermediate to advanced levels are invited to join Dirtopia for a social ride this Workersday, 1 May at Muratie to explore singletrack with trail builder, Meurant Botha. For only R100 a boerewors roll, a beer and the day permit fee of R60 is included. Buy tickets online for catering purposes at Dirtpass.co.za About 25 km is singletrack and ebikes are welcome.
Trail Runners can buy a R50 permit on Sunday 30 April at Morgenhof to do a 7 km marked route anytime between 07:30 and 09:30. No need to book, just pitch and enjoy the stalls afterwards at the market.
Hikers must book online for Monday 1 May when the Sunset to Full Moon Hike takes place from Dirtopia Trail Centre. Muratie Wines will be available at the viewpoint where you can enjoy your snacks that you packed with a picnic blanket. Tickets are R110 for adults and R55 for kids on Dirtpass.co.za

Next in Dirtopia’s Sportsmans Warehouse series to look forward to is the Change of Season Trail Run that will take place on Warwick Wine Estate Sunday 28 May. Run through beautiful vineyards and singletrack on the foothills of Klapmutskop to spectacular views of the Winelands and Table Mountain in the distance. The Two routes of 10,5 km and 6,25 km with medals, refreshment stations and lucky draws.
