Sunshine predicted for two Sundays in a row, when Dirtopia, together with Sportsmans Warehouse, celebrates the arrival of Spring near Stellenbosch by presenting two Trail Runs at wine farms on both sides of town.
The Change of Season Trail Run takes place at Le Bonheur Wine Estate with a 6 km and 11 km route on 27 August. Back in 2017 was the last time Dirtopia activated on this historic farm, and their trail team will open single-track especially for the event!
Everyone loves a discount and for both runs Dirtopia has decided to lower the price, as everyone feels the pressure this time of the month… If you pre-enter online by Friday 09:00, the entry fee is only R100 for the short route and R150 for the long route. That is lower than in 2021!
Give the kids some fresh air, as they only pay R50, and that’s including a finishers medal, refreshment stations, prizes to winners and lucky draws!
The Spring Trail Run at Dornier Wine Estate on 3 September takes the long route into Moordenaarskloof to see the wild flowers next to the trails. A 5,5 km and 10,5 km option with the same great prices as mentioned above!

Timing (live for pre-entries) is optional with Trail Tag that you can rent or buy. There will be a total of R2 000 vouchers to be won from title sponsor Sportsmans Warehouse and top wines from the farms, as well as FALKE running socks and medals to all finishers. The well-stocked refreshment station on the routes has fresh fruit, Powerade and cold Coke at the finish line.
Massages will be on offer from Ultimate Sports Recovery and free samples from PVM energy at the start/finish. Coffee and pastries will be ready at registration in the morning. Relax before and after your run on the beautiful lawn in front of the farm dams while waiting for the lucky draws.
