Learning about water on a Wet Wednesdays event

The Mbekweni Eco Club has launched their Wet Wednesdays programme sponsored by the Rotary Club of Paarl, in cooperation with Drakenstein Municipality, to educate learners on the importance of water conservation and management. Learners visited Drakenstein Municipality’s water purification and management facilities, and walked away with a new sense of responsibility towards the scarce water resources. Learners from three Mbekweni schools – Langabuya Primary, Imboniselo Primary and Mbekweni Primary (grade 6 and 7) participated.
