Rock lovers and die-hard fans of one of the most successful rock bands of all time will soon have the chance to thrill to the sounds of Pink Floyd when Mel Botes, undoubtedly one of the most respected and talented guitarists and songwriters in SA, will take centre stage at Die Bôrdienghuis Theatre in Wellington on Friday 1 March. For more than a decade renowned South African songwriter and guitarist has been recreating the classic ’70s prog-rock sound of Pink Floyd for audiences across the country. Now, in a new revision of the show Botes will bring to the stage a hand-picked selection from Pink Floyd’s catalogue of hits. Tickets: R180 pp. Bookings @ Jeannine 061 1565 386.
