Paarls’ Frank Pietersen Music Centre is thrilled to announce that this week teachers Inge Wittenberg, Hadley Duminy, Vaughan Pietersen and three of their senior violinists visited Pretoria to play for the UNISA South African Music Scholarship Competition. Only 10 participants from all over South Africa were invited to this competition. The three violinists, also the only violinists invited to this competition, are Kyrah Adams, Vialli Mocke (who are taught by Duminy) and Matthew Lamprecht (Wittenberg’s students) also achieved over 90% for their Grade 8 violin exams! They will participate in the competition on 10 and 11 October and their performances will be live-streamed.Photo: Liander Pottas
