After a run of sell-out shows throughout the Cape, John and James are excited to be performing their Sting show and invite you on a musical journey with them at Die ATKV Bôrdienghuis Theatre in Wellington on 2 November. They have been deeply inspired by the music of Sting, and can’t wait to share their unique take on Sting’s timeless classics with you. The rich tapestry of Sting’s compositions intertwines with the artistry of James Stewart and John Ellis bridging the past and the present, breathing new life into the songs we all know and love. James Stewart is a chart-topping, multi-Emmy nominated, multi-SAMA Award-winning singer and songwriter. The charismatic John Ellis, led his band, Tree63, to international acclaim as their singer, guitar player and award-winning songwriter. He has been nominated for a SAMA award and has released five solo albums. Join John & James in this intimate venue exploring and celebrating the music of one of their most significant influences.
